Overview

Accurate separation, in a small footprint

The circular vibro screen (vibratory screen separator) grades and separates material into precise fractions using gyratory motion. Its modular design stacks multiple decks to yield several predetermined sizes in one pass, while the closed-circuit construction keeps the process dust-free and quiet — ideal for everything from minerals and chemicals to food and pharma powders.

Working principle

Gyratory motion in three planes

An unbalanced motor with a double-extended shaft carries eccentric weights at both ends. The top weight rotates near the centre of mass, creating horizontal vibration that throws material across the screen cloth to the periphery — discharging oversize faster.

The bottom weight rotates below the centre of mass, tilting the screen to add vertical and tangential motion. This turns material over on the surface so the maximum quantity of undersize passes through. Rugged springs on the circular base amplify the vibration. Adjusting the lead angle (0°, 15°, 35°, 90°) tunes how material travels — from a straight radial throw to a long spiral path for maximum screening.

Circular Vibro Screen — common questions

How many fractions can one screen separate?

The modular design stacks multiple decks, so a single machine can separate into several predetermined fractions in one pass. Tell us how many grades you need and we’ll configure the decks accordingly.

How do you prevent screen blinding?

Anti-blinding trays with bouncing balls or PVC sliders sit beneath the mesh to keep apertures clear, and the lead-angle adjustment tunes material travel — together they minimise blinding even with sticky or fine materials.

Is a stainless / food-grade version available?

Yes. We build mild-steel and stainless-steel versions with hygienic finishes for food, pharma and chemical duties, and the closed-circuit design keeps the process dust-free.
