Overview

Gentle, high-efficiency grading into many fractions

The Tumbler Screening Machine is a unique sieving equipment capable of screening high- and low-bulk-density powders with extreme high efficiency. It helps grade or separate materials into multiple fractions as desired or based on the application. Powders or granules are continuously fed into the centre of the screen, and a tri-planar elliptical movement spreads the material out uniformly — fines pass through the sieve while coarser material moves towards the circumference of the decks.

Working principle

Tri-planar elliptical motion

Powders or granules are fed continuously into the centre of the screen. The tri-planar elliptical movement of the screen spreads the material out uniformly across the deck, so all fines pass through the sieve while the coarser material moves towards the circumference of the decks.

A 3D weight-adjustment system lets the user set the intensity of the sieve movement to suit the material, and the entire system is driven by an electric motor and V-belts linked to the shaft. Tumbler Screens are available in 36 inch and 48 inch diameters, with an optional material of construction in mild steel (MS) or stainless steel (SS 304 / SS 316L).
