Vibratory Spiral Elevator

A motorized vertical spiral conveyor that elevates material upward on a spiral path using vibration — with a totally enclosed design to prevent dusting. Ideal for any continuous process where bulk material must be lifted vertically.

Vertical elevating Enclosed & dust-free Continuous process

Overview

Lift material vertically on a spiral path

The Motorized Vertical Spiral Conveyor consists of a number of spiral trays made of mild steel and a main body fitted with a vibrating motor connected to the upper spiral tray body. As the motor starts, the vibration sets the material in spiral upward motion. The motor housing is a totally enclosed design to prevent dusting, making the elevator useful in any continuous process industry where vertical elevating of material is required.

Benefits

Why operators choose the Saideep spiral elevator

  • Vertical elevating of material on a continuous spiral path in a compact footprint.
  • Vibrating-motor drive connected to the upper spiral tray sets material in upward motion.
  • Totally enclosed motor-housing design prevents dusting during transport.
  • Mild-steel spiral trays built into a robust main body for continuous-process duty.
  • Cools & de-dusts granules — widely used to cool temperature and remove dust in masterbatch.
  • 3000 vibrations per minute standard frequency, with amplitude to suit the screen size.
Vibratory spiral elevator working principle

Working principle

Vibration drives material up the spiral

A main body is fitted with a vibrating motor connected to the upper spiral tray body. As the motor starts, the vibration sets the material in a spiral upward motion, conveying it from the base to the top along a series of mild-steel spiral trays. The motor housing is a totally enclosed design to prevent dusting.

The motorized spiral conveyor screen works on a standard frequency of 3000 vibrations per minute, with a maximum amplitude of 1.5 mm to 2 mm depending on the size of the screen — useful for any continuous process industry where vertical elevating of material is required.

FAQs

Vibratory Spiral Elevator — common questions

How does a vibratory spiral elevator move material upward?
A vibrating motor connected to the upper spiral tray body sets the material in a spiral upward motion as soon as the motor starts, lifting it from the base to the top along the spiral trays.
What frequency and amplitude does it run at?
The motorized spiral conveyor screen works on a standard frequency of 3000 vibrations per minute, with a maximum amplitude of 1.5 mm to 2 mm depending on the size of the screen.
Is it dust-tight?
Yes. The body housing of the motor is a totally enclosed design to prevent dusting during conveying.
Which industries use it?
It is useful in any continuous process industry where vertical elevating of material is required — including plastics, rubber, ceramic, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, fertiliser and glass. The masterbatch (plastic granule) industry also uses it to cool the temperature and remove dust from granules.
