Are the motors suitable for explosive or hazardous areas?

Yes. A Flameproof (explosion-proof) series is ATEX-certified for Zone 1 & 2 (gas) and Zone 21 & 22 (dust), making them suitable for mining, grain, chemical and other hazardous environments.

Can I get single-phase and special-voltage motors for South Africa?

We supply both single-phase and three-phase motors and can build to South African voltages and frequency or any overseas requirement — just specify your supply when you enquire.
