Magnetic Hump
A two-stage magnet for removing tramp iron from powder flowing down a vertical pipe — two Super Power Rare Earth plates on a zigzag path force material across both magnets so it leaves clean and iron-free.
Overview
Clean, iron-free powder in a vertical drop
The magnetic hump is used for removing tramp iron mixed with powder flowing down a vertical pipe. It consists of two Super Power Rare Earth magnetic plates hinged on a zigzag path, so falling material is deflected across both magnet faces in turn. The hinged plates open easily for cleaning, making maintenance quick and ensuring a clean, iron-free product downstream. For a pressure-conveying line rather than a gravity dogleg, the bullet magnet does the same job in-line.

Features & benefits
Two magnets, one clean stream
Super Power Rare Earth
Two high-intensity Rare Earth plates deliver strong capture of tramp iron from powders.
Zigzag path
The zigzag layout forces falling material across both magnet faces for thorough separation.
Two-stage capture
Major iron is caught on the first plate; the second removes any particles that escape.
Vertical pipe fit
Designed to sit in a vertical pipe where powder flows down under gravity.
Hinged for cleaning
The hinged magnetic plates open easily so captured iron is cleared quickly.
Clean product
Two passes ensure a clean, iron-free material reaches your process.

Working principle
Two magnets across a zigzag drop
As the material falls, it strikes directly on the first magnet plate. Major iron contamination is deposited here, drawn straight out of the powder stream at the first impact.
The material then flows on to the second magnet, where any escaped iron particles are removed. This two-stage zigzag path ensures clean, iron-free material — and because both plates are hinged, they open easily for quick cleaning.
Applications
Wherever powder drops through a pipe
