Impact Type Vibrator

Electromagnetic impact vibrators that keep hopper and bin material flowing — mounted on the hopper wall to break bridging and clear hang-ups. Available from 25 W to 500 W and sized to your hopper wall thickness and capacity.

25–500 W ratings Clears bridging 230 V single phase

Overview

Reliable hopper discharge, sized to your bin

The electromagnetic impact type vibrator mounts on a hopper or bin wall and imparts impacts that keep stored material moving freely. Made in power ratings from 25 W to 500 W, the correct model depends on the wall thickness of the hopper, while the design and capacity of the hopper determine how many vibrators are needed. All units operate on a 230 V AC single-phase supply.

Features & benefits

Matched to your hopper and supply

Wide power range

Built in ratings from 25 W to 500 W — it is important to use the vibrator of the correct rating.

Sized to wall thickness

The vibrator model is selected to suit the wall thickness of the hopper it mounts on.

One or more per hopper

The design and capacity of the hopper determine how many vibrators are required.

Same-phase wiring

When more than one vibrator is fitted on a hopper, they are connected in the same phase.

230 V single phase

All vibrators run on a 230 V AC single-phase system; higher voltages are made on request.

Control cabinet included

Each vibrator ships with a control cabinet that converts AC to pulsating DC (except model SDV-1).

FAQs

Impact Type Vibrator — common questions

How do I choose the right model?
The model is selected from the wall thickness of the hopper, and it is important to use the vibrator of the correct rating. Ratings run from 25 W (SDV-1) to 500 W (SDV-7) — share your hopper details and we’ll match the model.
How many vibrators does a hopper need?
The design and capacity of the hopper determine the number of vibrators required. When more than one is installed on a hopper, they should be connected in the same phase.
What power supply do they need?
All the vibrators are designed to operate on a 230 V AC single-phase system. Vibrators for higher voltages can be manufactured on request.
Is a control cabinet supplied?
Yes. Each vibrator is provided with a control cabinet that converts AC to pulsating DC — the only exception is model SDV-1.
