Overview

Consistent discharge from any silo or hopper

A bin activator is a conical discharge zone connected to the silo or hopper by a set of suspension hangers, with the gap sealed by a flexible rubber gasket (bellows). An inverted, adjustable baffle cone vibrates through the stored material, breaking arches and channels so jammed product flows out freely and uniformly — every time the outlet opens.

What problems does a bin activator solve?

It cures erratic or stalled discharge from silos and hoppers — arching/bridging, rat-holing and flushing — by actively vibrating the stored material so it flows uniformly on demand.

Can it be retrofitted to an existing silo?

Yes. We build the activator to your silo/hopper outlet diameter so it mounts via suspension hangers and a sealing bellows — typically a straightforward bolt-on installation.

Is it suitable for food or hazardous products?

Stainless, food-grade builds are available, and the drive can be supplied with CE/ATEX-certified vibrator motors for dust- or gas-hazardous environments.

How do you size it?
